Nile cruise holidays from Luxor to Luxor for seven days to experience river Nile, discover upper Egypt & ancient Egyptian monuments: Valley of the Kings, Luxor temple, Karnak temple, Kom Ombo & Edfu.

Day 1 Saturday

Upon arrival in Luxor our English speaking guide will meet you at the airport with sign “sharm-club.com”, transfer to the city to start your tour. Depending on the time of your arrival on the 1st day you can visit just some monuments and others will be visited on another day.



We will 1st visit the West bank and Colossi of Memnon. Next stop at the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut ( Deir el Bahari ) – this is the most beautiful temple in the necropolis and the queen herself is one of the most colourful figures in ancient Egyptian history.



Next stop is at the Valley of the Kings . It is a remote valley deep in the limestone hills to the north-west of Deir el Bahri. Your visit includes entry into 3 tombs, however if you wish to see either the tomb of King Tutankhamen or Tomb of Ramses VI, there is an additional ticket cost.



Afternoon check in your floating hotel. Lunch on board, some rest and continue exploring the city.

Day 2 Sunday

Breakfast on boat and let’s visit Luxor temple. This beautiful temple was built on the east bank of the Nile by Amenhotep 3, “the Magnificent.” The temple was dedicated to the Theban triad: the great god Amon-Ra, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu.



In the afternoon we start sailing towards Esna city. The distance is around 55 km. Let’s enjoy with the beautiful views of the Egyptian countryside until we reach the lock of Esna, we pass through the lock and continue sailing to Edfu. The distance is around 65 km. Lunch & dinner on board. Overnight and evening entertainment program.

Day 3 Monday

In the morning after the breakfast we will visit Edfu temple of Horus, but to reach the temple we should catch a cab. The entire temple is embellished with wonderful reliefs. This is one of the most beautiful and certainly the best preserved of Egypt’s monuments. There is no ancient monument in the world that can match it.



Then back to the boat to continue our journey toward Kom Ombo. In the afternoon we will visit Double temple of Sobek & Horus at Kom Ombo. After visiting the temple we will be back to the boat to continue sailing to Aswan. Let’s have lunch and dinner on board. Overnight and evening entertainment program in Aswan is available.

Day 4 Tuesday

In the early morning after the breakfast we'll start our Aswan city tour. We will visit the High dam which is situated 6,5 kilometres south of the original Aswan dam built in 1902 & subsequently heightened on 2 occasions.



Behind Hight Dam is a unique Nubian site known as New Kalabsha. We will visit the temple of Kalabsha, Kiosk of Qertasi, Garf Hussein Temple, Dedwin chapel and Beit el-Wali temple, all these Nubian monuments were relocated here during salvage campaign.



Our next goal will be a jewel of Upper Egypt, a beautiful small island of Philae. To reach the extraordinary temple of Philae island we will sail by a felucca boat. The original monuments of the island was dismantled & re-erected on another island called Agilkai, slightly to the north of Philae. So, this is the place we are visiting these days.



Lunch on board and optional afternoon visit to Botanical garden or Elephantine island. The island is one of the oldest gardens in the world & includes a rare collection of tropical plants which have been collected from all over the world. Overnight and evening entertainment program on board in Aswan.

Day 5 Wednesday

This is a free day that you can spend at leisure or dedicate it to the optional visit to the famous huge temples of Abu Simble or the Nubian village. Abu Simble temples visit can be arranged either by air or land. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served on board, as well as evening entertainment program is available.

Day 6 Thursday

We will sail back to Kom Ombo and visit the temple if we missed it on the way to Aswan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served on board, as well as evening entertainment program is available.

Day 7 Friday

Upon arrival in Luxor we will visit East bank and Karnak temple - this great national monument of Egypt has no equal. Back to the boat for lunch & dinner and evening entertainment program, overnight in Luxor. In Luxor you can make some optional activities in the early morning Hot-Air balloon ride over Luxor or in the evening Sound & Light show show at Karnak temple.

Day 8 Saturday

Free morning after breakfast, check out by 12 pm and transfer to Luxor airport to catch your flight back to your home destination.
