Full Description

Ras El Soda Temple Tour Alexandria to discover a tiny temple, located in the heart of Alexandria and well viewed from the roadway. Built during the Roman rule, the temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis.

The temple consists of a platform on which you can climb via a flight of stairs. In the corners of the temple there are 4 Aionic columns. In the center of the platform there is a foot made of marble, to which donations were brought. On the back side of the platform are five statues. The first statue belongs to Herpokrat, the second is Herma Anubis. The third statue is the largest of all, so we can assume that the temple is dedicated to the goddess Isis. The fourth and fifth statues represent the god Osiris in canonical form.
