Cairo to the White Desert trip

In the morning, around 7 am our driver will pick up you from your Cairo hotel and take to oasis of Baharia. You will arrive to the oasis by lunch time. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, and then you will take 4X4 Land Cruiser to start your White Desert safari adventure. Visit the Black Desert and the sand dune area, where you can climb a 50 meter-dune. Short break at El Heiz Oasis and continue to the Crystal Mountain, the area of the wonders with the desert roses. Visit El Agabat and move to the White Desert bizarre formations and wind carved sculptors. In the evening let’s have a tasty dinner and sleep in our cozy tents under the stars.

White Desert to Fayoum oasis trip

We get up in the early morning to watch amazing sunrise over the desert, get breakfast and move from Bahariya to south towards Fayoum oasis. We reach Wadi Al Hitan area more known as the Valley of the Whales: a surreal region where huge boulders seem to be capped with an imaginary icing of thick caramelized syrup, which appears to ooze down their sides. Within this extraordinary landscape the fossil remains of Zeuglodon – whales that existed in the Fayoum over 45 million years ago - have been found. We explore the area and spend a night camping under a canopy of stars in our cozy tents.

Fayoum to Cairo

In the morning after breakfast in our camp we will move back towards Cairo. On the way let’s have a short stop at Qaroun lake for an optional felucca tour (half an hour) at Wadi Rayan waterfalls. After lunch in the area we will continue our trip back to Cairo.
