Today’s excursion to Dashur will lead us north of the Bent Pyramid, where the last and most successful of the three pyramids built during the reign of Snefru - the Pink Pyramid - is located. It is the world's first successfully completed smooth pyramid. This structure is also the third largest pyramid in Egypt - after the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre in Giza.
The pink pyramid is the first "real" pyramid, and the second largest of its founding of all the Egyptian Pyramids.
