Discovering Siwa oasis

Our three day tour to Siwa oasis from Cairo starts in the early morning. Our driver will pick up you from your Cairo hotel at 5 am. The distance is long, around 800 km, so it may take up to 10 hours to reach the place. Upon arrival in Siwa oasis we will check-in a cozy hotel and get some refreshment.

Today's trip around the oasis includes the following sites:
- Shali, the Old City - we will explore the historic ruins of Shali, the ancient fortified city built with natural materials like salt and clay, which narrates the stories of Siwa's past.
- Mountain of the Dead (El-Mawta) - this fascinating archaeological site offers panoramic views of the oasis. There are some tombs dating back to the Greco-Roman period. If you want to visit some of them extra entrance fee will apply.
- temple of the Oracle - we will explore the legendary temple where Alexander the Great sought guidance, steeped in ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman history.
- Cleopatra Bath - let's take a moment to relax and enjoy the fresh spring waters in the iconic natural pool, a favorite spot for visitors.

For a sunset experience we will head to Fatnas Island, also known as the Fantasy Island, for a mesmerizing sunset surrounded by palm trees and serene lake views. And at last in the evening we will enjoy a delicious traditional Siwan dinner at a local restaurant. After the dinner let's return back to our hotel for a comfortable and relaxing night.

Salt lakes and Great Sand sea safari tour

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel let's move to Salt Lakes where we can swim in the stunning salt lakes of Siwa, known for their vibrant turquoise water and natural healing properties. A truly serene experience.

Desert Safari in the Great Sand Sea will take us on an exhilarating desert adventure, including visit to the Bir Wahid Hot Spring, where we can relax in the warm, therapeutic waters of a natural hot spring. Next stop at a Cold Lake to experience the refreshing waters of this unique desert lake.

Dune Driving will let us enjoy thrilling rides over the massive sand dunes of the Great Sand Sea. Here we can glide down the golden dunes to experience adrenaline-pumping sandboarding.

In the evening lets stop at a Desert Camp to watch the sun set over the vast desert while savoring the peaceful beauty of the landscape. Here a delicious dinner will be served for us. After the diner we will return to the hotel in Siwa for the night.

Journey back to Cairo

After breakfast in your hotel you will have some free time to explore Siwa's mid-town, where you can shop for unique souvenirs such as handwoven textiles, dates, olive oil, and salt lamps. Then we will move towards Cairo, marking the end of our unforgettable journey to Siwa oasis.
