Second part of the day we will dedicate to lunch in the city and after take a motor-boat to cross the Nile to the East Bank where our hotel is located. Check-in 4* hotel on BB basis, standard DBL accommodation is available. Free evening at leisure.
A hot air balloon tour (optionally, $80 per person) is available at sunrise. More details about Hot Air Balloon Luxor.
After breakfast at the hotel, you can either relax by the pool and spend some hours on your own or start the day earlier to avoid sun and heat that is common to Luxor especially in early autumn and late spring. Our guide will pick you up as scheduled and take you to a sightseeing tour of Luxor Temple and a walk along the Sphinxes Avenue. You can walk all 4,5 km along the avenue and reach the Karnak Temple on foot or take just some meters along a beautifully restored path and sphinxes before taking your car to drive to Karnak Temple. Entering Karnak Temple on foot is more spectacular but requires more physical endurance. Sightseeing tour of Karnak Temple takes 2-3 hours: visit the Sacred Lake, the largest scarab beetle, an open-air museum with unique chapels and many small temples and chapels hidden inside the hude religious complex of Karnak.
After lunch in the city, you can go for a walk to the local bazaar or spend the evening at your own discretion. Back to our hotel for a relaxing night.
Today we will go to a very beautiful and mysterious temple, located some 50 km far from Luxor city and known as Abydos. Our program includes visit of Seti I temple and mysterious structure known as Oseirion. After the tour we will proceed directly to Hurghada.
