Flight to Cairo from Hurghada

Day trips to Cairo from Hurghada by Plane, pick up at 5.00 am and transfer to Hurghada airport. We do pick up from any hotel in Hurghada. Should you wish to be picked up from other areas including Makadi Bay, Sahl Hashish, el-Gouna or Safaga additional transfer fee will be applied. Transfer to Hurghada International airport and fly to Cairo. The distance between Hurghada and Cairo is 455 KM, the flight takes about 50 minutes. Arrival in Cairo and meet with our English speaking Egyptology tour guide.

Guided Tour to the Egyptian Museum

Let’s start our Cairo Excursion from Hurghada with visiting National Egyptian Museum which is situated on Tahrir square and is famous for its vast collection of rare Egyptian monuments and artefacts. The tour includes 2,5 hours walk around the museum’s halls where you will get information about different periods of Ancient Egyptian history, will see artefacts belonging to Old, Middle and New kingdoms. Visit to Tutankhamun room where his golden coffin and golden mask are exhibited. Visit to animal mummies hall and many other halls which will reveal you the ancient Egyptian mysteries.

Nile Boat Ride

After the museum we will have some refreshments and take a felucca tour (optional activity) along the Nile. After let’s have some rest and a lovely lunch in a local restaurant on set menu basis. Drinks are ordered with extra charge. Lunch will take around one hour and after we’ll head for our main destination, the most famous place in the world – Giza plateau.

Visiting of Pyramids

Time to discover Giza plateau and its famous pyramids. The only survived wonder of the ancient world – The Great pyramid of Cheops is our main goal. Here we can spend some time walking around, entering inside (optional, extra ticket is required), climbing if possible or taking some wonderful pictures. Next let’s move to panorama playground where we can see all the pyramids together and take great panoramic pictures of the plateau together with three pyramids. Now time to discover smaller pyramids the one of Khafre and the smallest of three – the pyramid of Menkaure. It is possible to enter both pyramids if they are open to public on the day of your visit, extra tickets will be required.

Horse riding at Pyramids

There is an opportunity to get a horseback riding at the pyramids, watch a sunset at the Pyramids desert.

Visiting of Sphinx and Valley Temple

Our last stop will be at the bottom of the pyramid of Khafre where the Great Sphinx and his valley temple are located. Let’s enter the temple and walk along its ancient walls until we reach the Great Sphinx. As a bonus our trip includes the entrance into a newly discovered and opened to public workers tomb.

Fly back to Hurghada

Now we finished exploring Cairo and have some time for shopping along its bazaars and shops. After we will take you to the airport to catch your flight back to Hurghada. Estimated arrival time back to your hotel in Hurghada 21:30.
