Start your day with an early morning journey from Hurghada to Cairo, which can be made by car or plane. For those choosing a flight, the trip takes just about an hour. If traveling by car, the scenic drive offers a comfortable alternative. Our day begins when the driver arrives at your hotel to pick you up and ensure a smooth transfer, whether to the airport or for the drive to Cairo, as detailed in your tour confirmation. Upon arriving in Cairo, you'll be welcomed by a professional English-speaking guide, easily recognizable as he will be holding a sign with “sharm-club.com” outside the main arrival hall.
Our first destination is the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a drive from the airport to its location at the foot of the Giza Plateau will not take much time. Grand Museum is an architectural marvel which combines modern design with traditional Egyptian elements, offering breathtaking views of the iconic Pyramids of Giza. Although the museum is not yet fully inaugurated (only 12 halls are available), visitors can explore the open sections, including the Main Galleries, Grand Hall, and the expansive Grand Staircase. The museum also features beautifully landscaped gardens and a commercial area.
Please note that access to the Tutankhamun galleries and Khufu's Boats Museum is currently restricted until the official grand opening.
Following your visit to the GEM, the tour continues to the Pyramids of Giza, some of the most enduring symbols of ancient Egypt. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. As we move on along the site the guide will share fascinating insights into the construction and significance of Giza pyramids. Mysterious Sphinx, with its lion’s body and human face, will add another layer of wonder to your experience. Te main panoramic viewpoint we visit offers incredible photo opportunities to capture the majesty of the plateau.
After we are done with the history of the pyramids, let's move to a local restaurant to have some Egyptian delights. Before concluding the tour, there will be some time to explore the nearby bazaars, perfect for picking up unique souvenirs or simply soaking in the vibrant atmosphere.
Finally, you’ll be transferred back to Cairo airport for your return flight to Hurghada. Once you land, our driver will ensure you’re safely taken back to your hotel, bringing your extraordinary day in Cairo to a close.
