Star watching experience in Hurghada

Hurghada is one of the best places to Stargazing, you just need to go away from the city lights to watch stars as the visibility is clear most times of the year. Now let's take you for a life-time experience to the desert not far from the Red Sea resort of Hurghada to enjoy a warm evening, to observe night sky and watch bright stars which can be clearly visible only in the desert, away of artificial lights and pollution.

What is the best time for Stargazing in Hurghada

The best time to enjoy watching the The Milky Way in Hurghada in the middle of the year, starting from late April to September, it will look like a painting for everyone who sees it with his naked eye, but the truth will not be able to watch it brightly like those pictures that It is displayed, but it will be seen in a lighter brightness, because the camera has a high sensitivity to light, but the view in the photos would not be more amazing than if viewed with the naked eye.

Where to watch Stars in Hurghada

The trip starts in the afternoon with a hotel pick up. Drive by Jeep out of the city to some valleys where you can experience camel riding for 10-15 minutes, take part in Bedouin Bread Baking classes, bargain with local Bedouin woman for her handmade crafts.

At sunset we will move to an amazing location where we can watch the sun getting down and hiding behind the desert mountains. Back to the Bedouin tent for the romantic time, have some free time by candlelight, watch a Bedouin man barbecuing a delicious Bedouin Dinner with soft drinks.

About 25 KM away from Hurghada in the Egyptian eastern desert, which extends for a total area of 223,000 km², we will stop at a Bedouin tent for observing and following up on stars, planets and meteors, as well as camping trips and visiting mountain valleys, where we can see a number of celestial bodies at night and a number of stars the Milky Way, of course, you can take amazing shots by your camera and monitor the stars.

After our delicious dinner you will get a fabulous opportunity for stargazing activity via real telescopes, placed in the desert. A professional astronomer will explain you some planets movements, constellations and guide you through the night sky stars.

Our stargazing experience in Hurghada was nothing short of magical, weaving together the charm of a short camel ride, the flavors of a Bedouin dinner, and the mesmerizing entertainment of a Tanoura show beneath the vast desert sky. The evening commenced with a brief camel ride, a delightful introduction to the serene beauty of the desert. The rhythmic sway of the camels and the warm desert breeze set the stage for an authentic Bedouin adventure. This evening experience is a must-do for those seeking a unique blend of nature, culture, and celestial wonders. This enchanting evening offers a glimpse into the rich traditions of the Bedouin culture while providing a front-row seat to the breathtaking beauty of the desert night sky. A heartfelt thank you to the organizers for curating an unforgettable night under the stars.
