Two 2 day trip to Cairo from Luxor by a sleeper train is a great chance to discover not only National Egyptian Museum, Pyramids and Sphinx with its Valley temple, but also have a walking tour in Old Cairo and the Citadel, see Roman fortress of Babylon and old Cairo churches.
Our overnight tour to Cairo from Luxor by a sleeper train will let us explore Giza Plateau and its famous Pyramids, discover workers tomb (optionally) and wander in the Valley Temple of the Great Sphinx. Our first day we will spend exploring ancient Egyptian sights built by pharaohs. We will enjoy our lunch in a local restaurant and get (optionally) Nile felucca ride along the Nile. In the evening optionally you can return to the Pyramids to watch Sound and Light show or go for Nile cruise with dinner and Oriental show with Tanura dance and belly denser performance. Night we will spend in a cozy 4* hotel on BB basis.
Next day after breakfast in the hotel our guide will pick up you to start your new day. Now time to visit Medieval Cairo and its famous places. Let's move to the Citadel of Saladdin and explore its territory. Alabaster mosque of Mohammed Ali and his Harem palace, which hosts now National Military museum are a few places to mention.
Afternoon let's have yummy lunch in a local restaurant and continue our Cairo tour. Now time to visit Old quarters of Cairo and its famous churches, synagogue and fort Babylon. At the end of the tour our guide will accompany you to Cairo railway station to catch your sleeper train back to Luxor. Upon arrival our representative will meet you in Luxor railway station and transfer to your Luxor hotel.
