Arrival in Luxor

Arrival Luxor international airport. Meet at the airport with our driver and transfer to your 5* hotel on BB basis. Standard double room accommodation is available. Free time at leisure.

Luxor West bank tour

Let’s spend a day discovering the West bank of the Nile. Today we will tour with you the most well known historical places in Luxor including:

- Memnon Colossi (old), stop for 15 minutes to take some pictures
- Queen Hatshepsut temple
- Colossi new, stop for 15 minutes to take some pictures
- Medinet Habu temple
- Valley of the Kings tour, visit to 3 opened tombs

Lunch in the city and optional tour to Banana island is available. When we finish our day tour let’s take a comfortable a/c car to go to Aswan. The distance from Luxor to Aswan around 300 km, so it may take time to reach Aswan. Upon arrival check in 3* hotel on BB. Overnight in the hotel.

Private tour to Abu Simbel

Our guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel around 6 am to take the trip to the temples of Abu Simbel from Aswan. It is 270 km far from Aswan to Abu Simbel, our road trip will take up to 3.5 hour.

When we arrive to the site, the guide will show you around. The tour includes visit to the two temples: the Great Temple of Ramses the 2nd and the Temple of Nefertari, which is situated just some meters away of the main temple. Walking tour around the peninsula, some stops for taking pictures and back to Aswan. Lunch will be offered in a local restaurant in the city upon arrival. Overnight in the hotel.

Tour to Philae and Kalabsha islands

Today we will visit with you two beautiful places. First of all let’s go to a remote island known as New Kalabsha to see Nubian monuments, saved from Nasser Lake inundation: beautiful Kiosk of Kertasi, Mandulis Temple – Kalabsha Temple, Beit el-Wali temple and even Garf el-Husein. To reach the place we will take with you a motor-boat and enjoy 20 minutes boat ride along Lake Nasser.

Next we will cross the High Dam of Aswan. Here we’ll stop for 15-20 minutes to take some panoramic pictures of the lake and the memorial and then proceed to another island – Island of Philae and its beautiful structures: Trojan kiosk and some temples.

In the afternoon we will return to the city for lunch and some optional activities like boat ride to Botanical garden or Nubian village tour. Back to our hotel and rest.

Tour to Nubian sights

In the morning let’s visit Nubia museum dedicated to the lost civilization. Next we will cross the Nile and go to Elephantine island to discover some rarely visited Nubian monuments, one of the most ancient Nilometer in Egypt together with more modern one. We can even get down to the Nile to see how the Nilometer was used to measure the flood. After we will get lunch in the city in a local restaurant and return to Luxor. Overnight in the hotel in Luxor.

Day tour to Luxor and Karnak temples

At sunrise you can take an optional tour Hot Air Balloon Luxor.

This day we will dedicate to two main attractions of Luxor city. First of all we’ll go to explore Luxor Temple, walk along Sphinxes Avenue (4,5 km) and enter Karnak Temple. We’d recommend to enter Karnak Temple from the side of the avenue, as it is more impressive. Not to take this long distance on foot there is an option to start the avenue a half way. Karnak Temple tour will take more than 2 hours as there are many new places opened now to visitors: small temples, chapels and of course, Karnak Open air museum, are all available for curious travellers.

Lunch in a local restaurant after the tour and optionally you can visit in Luxor museum. In the evening Sound & Light show at Karnak Temple can be done as an optional activity. Back to the hotel and overnight.

Free day in Luxor

Day of your departure you can spend at your discretion. Check out of the hotel 12 pm. Transfer to the airport as per the flight schedule.
