Day Tour to Aswan from Luxor by Bus is an individual day trip to Aswan on a comfortable, air-conditioned micro-bus from your hotel in Luxor begins early in the morning with a transfer to the ancient city. Our English speaking representative will meet you at your hotel and then transfer to Aswan, the journey may take up to 3 hours.

Upon arrival in Aswan, we will first visit Philae island of Fila and its beautiful temple of the goddess Isis. We will have to catch a small motor-boat to reach the island as it is located in the waters of Naser lake. The journey to the island takes 20 minutes and you can use the chance while we are sailing along the Naser lake and take beautiful pictures of the structures on the island. On the island you will spend about two hours exploring the temples, chapels and other ancient architectural monuments located here.

Then let's go to another island known as Elephantine. It is located directly opposite the Old Cataract Hotel across the Nile river. Nubians live on this small island, but archeological excavations are constantly conducted here. The temples and fortresses found on this island are significantly different from those that were built elsewhere in Egypt. Moreover, it is here that 2 Nilometers are located! One very ancient and not working already, but still with a visible scale, and the second, built during the Islamic conquest of Egypt, still measures the level of the river.

Let's return to the city for lunch at a local restaurant and take a rest. After lunch we will go to the wonderful museum dedicated to the history of a unique, but unfortunately, lost for all civilization, Nubia. A couple of hours guided tour in the museum will introduce you to the unique civilization's past and presence.

After our Aswan tour finishes we will move back to Luxor. Transfer to your hotel.
