On the island of Roda, a nilometer from the time of Caliph al-Mutawwaki, 1456-57, has been preserved. Near the building of the nilometer there is a small pavilion, which was once the palace of Masterlini. If it is open, you can look into it and admire its beautiful wall paintings. The palace was built in 1851 for Abbas Helmi Pasha.
Next, we will go to the Manial Palace, built by Prince Mohammed Ali Tawfik. This is one of the most beautiful and fully preserved palaces in Egypt, as it was gifted to the state by its owner and became a museum. Here you can stroll through the beautiful gardens, see the ancient interiors and halls of the palace, which are furnished as before, look into the throne room and see the hunting museum.
After lunch in the city, we will continue our tour and visit Saladin's Citadel in Cairo. After the tour, transfer to Cairo airport and flight back to Sharm El Sheikh. Transfer to your hotel.
