Day trip to Alexandria

We will start our program with a day trip to Alexandria from Sharm el Sheikh by air. The following activities are included in our one day program:

- Pick up from your Sharm el Sheikh hotel around 5 am and drop off to Sharm el Sheikh International airport
- Flight to Cairo takes 50 minutes
- Meet in Cairo airport with our English speaking guide
- Transfer to Alexandria by road, the distance 250 km, the trip may take 3,5 hours
- Roman theater and “Villa of the Birds” tour
- Pompey pillar and Serapeum of Alexandria visit
-Catacombs of Kom al-Shoqafa excursion
- Lunch in a local restaurant in the city will be offered
- Transfer back to Cairo to the train station
- Night sleeper train to Aswan, at 21:00, double cabin (app 10 hours journey), dinner and breakfast included

Aswan sightseeing tour

Upon arrival in Aswan, around 8 am, our English speaking guide will meet you at the train station and take you to the city to visit the Modern Aswan High Dam and Philae island and its beautiful temple. Afternoon we will be back to the city, check in our floating hotel and lunch onboard. Afternoon you can spend on the ship at leisure or do some optional activities such as: visit to the Nubia Museum, felucca ride to Banana island, tour to the Nubian Village.

Abu Simbel temples optional tour

This morning you can do an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples. The distance from Aswan to Abu Simbel is 280 km, the journey takes around 4 hours one way. In Abu Simbel you will visit the Great Temple of Ramses the second and the temple of Nefertari, wife of Ramses II. Walking tour around the area and back to Aswan. The ship will move afternoon towards Kom Ombo. Lunch on the ship and free time at leisure. Overnight on the ship.

Kom Ombo and Edfu temples visit

In the morning let’s visit Kom Ombo temple and Crocodile Museum. Back to our cruising ship to sail forward to Edfu. Afternoon visit to a very beautiful Edfu temple dedicated to the God Horus. As the temple is situated away of the Nile a local carriage (huntur) will be offered to take you to the temple. Two hours tour of Horus temple and back to our ship, we continue sailing towards Luxor. Arriving Luxor afternoon. Overnight on the boat in Luxor.

Luxor sightseeing tour

In the early morning at dawn you can take an optional Hot Air Balloon Luxor flight over the valleys of the city. After breakfast check out the boat at 8 am and full day tour to Luxor including visits to the following sites:

- Memnon colossi
- Queen Hatshepsut temple
- Medinet Habu temple (optional)
- Valley of the Kings (visit to 3 opened tombs)
- Karnak Temple tour
- Luxor Temple and Sphinxes avenue

Lunch will be offered in the city during the day. After the tour in the evening transfer to the airport and flight to Cairo. Transfer from Cairo airport to the hotel. Overnight in the hotel on BB.

The Great Pyramids of Giza tour

After you get breakfast in the hotel our English speaking guide will meet you at the reception and take to the tour. Your one day Cairo trip includes the following attractions:

- The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx walking tour, approximately 3 hours
- Lunch in a local restaurant, around 1 hour
- Optional Nile felucca ride 45 minutes
-Tour to the Egyptian Museum, approximately 2,5 hours of the museum walking tour

At the end of the program transfer to Cairo airport and flight to Sharm el Sheikh. Upon arrival our driver will meet you and take to your hotel.
