Full Description

Cairo Luxor 4 day tour package from Sharm el Sheikh will let you spend two days in Cairo: visit the Pyramids and the Sphinx, explore Egyptian Museum of Antiquities and Cairo Citadel, discover Medieval Cairo attractions. Two other days will be dedicated to Luxor most famous sights and attractions including Valley of the kings and Karnak temple, queen Hatshepsut temple at Deir el-Bahari and Medinat Habu temple.

Day 1: Group excursion to the Pyramids by plane

Group excursion to Cairo by plane from Sharm el Sheikh includes:
- transfer from the hotel to the airport
- flight to Cairo, 50 minutes
- meeting at the Cairo airport
- excursion to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities
- Nile felucca ride along the Nile (optionally, extra charge)
- lunch at a local restaurant
- shopping: oils, papyrus, cotton shops
- excursion to the pyramids with a visit to the Sphinx and its Valley temple
After the excursion, transfer to a 4* hotel, DBL room accommodation on BB basis.

Day 2: Islamic monuments of Cairo walking tour

Today we will devote to acquaintance with the Islamic monuments of Cairo. Let's visit the Citadel of Saladin, take a look at the Mosque of Muhammad Ali and Al Nasir Muhammad, visit the Al-Haramlik Palace, which houses the Military Museum. We will go down to the foot of the citadel and walk along the mosque al-Rifai and Sultan Hasan, look inside these ancient buildings. Next, transfer to the Ibn Tulun mosque, where we can climb its unique minaret and take panoramic photos of Cairo. We will end the excursion with a visit to the Guy Anderson Museum, located in a medieval house, known as Bayt al-Kritleia. The museum hosts a private collection of Pharaonic and Islamic art. It is a fine example of the medieval Cairo houses built in 17-18 centuries by rich citizens.

Lunch in the city and a walk through the largest Oriental bazaar. In the evening, transfer to the railway station and sleeper train to Luxor (at 21:10), double cabin, breakfast is included.

Day 3: Luxor Valleys and temples day tour

Upon arrival in Luxor (around 7 am), meeting with the guide at the station and transfer to the West Bank of the Nile. Here you will have an excursion to the Valley of Kings and Queens, you will visit 3 open tombs in each valley. Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Medinat Habu. Stop at the old seated Colossi of Memnon for some photo shots and then new, standing Colossi photo session. Lunch in the city and check-in at a 4* hotel, DBL room accommodation on BB basis. In the evening you can go to Karnak Temple to participate in "Sound & Light" show, the show will introduce you to the history of ancient Egypt in a new way.

Day 4: Karnak and Luxor temple tour

In the morning at dawn, you can take a hot air balloon flight over the valleys of Luxor. Additional excursion, paid separately $60 per person. After breakfast at the hotel, you can relax by the pool or enjoy your free time until check out at 12 noon.
First, we will go on Luxor Temple sightseeing tour, then walk along Sphinxes avenue and next move to Karnak Temple. Sightseeing tour of the Karnak Temple, visiting the Sacred Lake and the open-air museum.

After lunch in the city, you can go to the local bazaar, wonder around before leaving for the airport, or sit in a local coffee, drink a cup of tea or coffee, admiring the beauty of Luxor Temple in the evening.

Transfer to the airport around 6:30 pm. Flight to Sharm El Sheikh and transfer to your hotel.
