Sinai Pilgrimage Tour with excursion to Alexandria

Our 7-day pilgrimage tour to Egypt will allow you to visit the most famous Christian shrines of Sinai, Cairo and Alexandria holly places. We will Climb Mount Sinai and visit famous cathedrals in Alexandria, sacred christian places in Old Cairo and old churches.

Arrival in Sharm el Sheikh, Sinai Peninsula

Arrival to Sharm El Sheikh. Meeting at the airport and transfer to a hotel 3* on HB basis. Free time at leisure.

Sharm El Sheikh free time at leisure

Free day in Sharm El Sheikh you can spend on the beach or do an optional activity: boat trip, quad-biking tour, Sharm el Sheikh city tour. In the evening we will move to St. Catherine city (about 8 pm, in convoy). Arrival in the city and some rest in a hotel before the hike, without checking in a hotel.

Mount Sinai night climbing tour

Climbing Mount Moses will begin at around 3 am. After meeting the dawn on the mountain, we will descent to the foot of the monastery. Breakfast in the city at one of the hotels (if available) and a visit to the Monastery of St. Catherine at 9 o'clock in the morning ( we do not stay for the pray). After a sightseeing tour of the monastery, transfer to Cairo, it may take up to 7 hours in convoy. Arrival in Cairo in the evening, check in 4* hotel, dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Pilgrimage tour to Alexandria

In the morning we will move to Alexandrian. The journey takes up to 3.5 hours. In Alexandria, you will visit the following places:
Cathedral of St. Mark The Evangelist
Coptic Monastery - seat of the head of the Coptic Church
The old Greek metropolis, which contains a marble slab with traces of the blood of St. Catherine. The Greek Church of Sava the Sanctified (the column where the Great Martyr Catherine was beheaded).
Fortress of Qait Bay (Alexandrian lighthouse).
Optional lunch in the city and return to Cairo. Dinner at the hotel overnight at the hotel.

Christian Cairo sightseeing tour

Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the Coptic Quarter in Cairo known as Old Cairo, visit to its famous churches. We will visit the following ancient churches:
Hanging Church al-Moalaka, here are kept particles of the relics of many saints,
Church of Sergius and Bacchus, where particles of the relics of the saints are also kept,
Church of the Great Martyr Barbara (particles of relics),
Greek Church of St. George (dungeon and chains of the Great Martyr),
Greek Church of the Dormition (stop of the Holy Family),
Church of the Holy Virgin Mary in Maadi (an ancient Bible was found here).

After lunch in the city, transfer to Sharm El Sheikh. Check in at a 3* hotel on a half board basis. Free time.

Moses Baths and Wadi El Feran Monastery

Sharm El Sheikh holiday. You can spend this free day at your own discretion. Optionally a trip to el-Tour city where Moses Baths is situated or to the monastery of Wadi el-Feran can be arranged.

Back to your country

Departure from the hotel and transfer to the airport, flight home.
